NEET 2017 exam will be held on May 2016. Aspirants will need to go through the exam pattern of NEET 2017 and prepare for the examination. The duration of NEET test will be 3 hours. Aspirants required to be appearing in NEET-I & NEET-I does not confer any right to the candidate for admission in MBBS/BDS Courses. The selection and admission to MBBS/BDS seats in any Medical Institution recognized for offering MBBS/BDS courses is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the Government of India, respective States, universities and Medical/Dental Institutions.

NEET 2017 question booklet will consist of 180 questions from all the three subjects. Physics and Chemistry section will consist of 45 questions each, while, Biology section will comprise of 90 questions. The Entrance Test of NEET will consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at centre only. 

The duration of test will be 03 hours.  Aspirants are required to know that the candidates can opt for question paper either in English or in Hindi. 



The option of medium of Question Paper should be exercised while filing in the application form andthe option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later. Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates opting for Hindi would be provided Bilngual Test Booklet i.e. in Hindi and in English. 

In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version shall be treated as final.  It is important for the candidate’s to note that the eligibility for NEET – I is purely provisional and is subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Board/MC. The result of NEET 2017 will be declared, tentatively, in the month of June, 2017.
