With as many as 14 lakh students having appeared for the examination, the surge of traffic on the official websites mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and mahresult.nic.in can slow it or even cause it to crash, but students should remember, if that happens, that they should try to log on after a certain gap. The Good, bad or average, students should remember that results are crucial in academics but there are many options open to all and so they should not give way to stress and frustration.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune (MSBSHSE) results can also be checked via SMS in all streams – Science, Arts and Commerce.

With as many as 14 lakh students having appeared for the examination, the surge of traffic on the official websites can slow it or even cause it to crash, but students should remember, if that happens, that they should try to log on after a certain gap (5 to 10 minutes, preferably later) to ensure they do not go through the inconvenience and neither do others.

Here’s how to check your MSBSHSE (Maharashtra Board) Class 12 Result 2016:

STEP 1. Keep your roll number and name, as they appear in official papers, handy before you attempt to check your result
STEP 2. Visit official websites mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and mahresult.nic.in
STEP 3. Click on the link that says ‘HSC Examination Result 2016’
STEP 4. Insert the details as requested carefully and accurately
STEP 5. Submit and your MSBSHSE class 12 results 2016 will be displayed
STEP 5. Download your MSBSHSE class 12 results 2016 on your computer
STEP 6. Take a printout. But a printout will not serve any official purpose. For that you will need to get your original certificate. However, the printout can come in handy during emergencies.
