NEET 2016: The first round of counselling's result will be out on August 28, 2016.

NEET 2016 counselling will be conducted for approximately 3500 MBBS and BDS seats.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) results on the official website yesterday. The counselling of NEET 2016 will be conducted in two rounds – from August 22 to August 25, 2016 by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling will be conducted in online mode.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has constituted the MCC for allotment of 15 per cent All India Quota MBBS and BDS seats through centralised NEET counselling 2016. Only those candidates can participate in the NEET counselling who were declared qualified by CBSE. The eligible candidates can log in to the official website cbseneet.nic.in to check their rank letter. NEET 2016 counselling will be conducted for approximately 3500 MBBS and BDS seats.
The first round of counselling’s result will be out on August 28, 2016.
Note: The candidate can fill as many options as they wish during online choice filling. However, choices should be in order of candidates’ preference.

The candidates have to register themselves to the NEET 2016 counselling portal. After registering yourself, fill the choices. Once choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it. During the choice locking period, it is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted options. If candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked at 5 pm of last date of choice locking.

Since it is online allotment, no documents will be required for participating in online allotment process. However, at the time of joining, following documents will be needed:
Admit cards of exam issued by the CBSE
Result/ rank letter issued by CBSE
Date of birth certificate (if Metric certificate does not bear the same)
Class 10th Certificate
Class 10+2 Certificate
Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application
form.
Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
Proof of identity.
The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:
(a) SC/ST, OBC, orthopedic physical disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
