NEET 2016 Phase II Notification, Application Form, Important Dates, Pattern : NEET also referred as National Eligibility Entrance Test which is organized by the CBSE Board. This entrance examination is organized for those students seeking for admission in various medical courses (MBBS/BDS) offered by top medical colleges in the country. For the session 2016, this examination will be organized on two phases, i.e. NEET Phase – I and NEET Phase – II. After long speculation, the Supreme Court has finally passed the order on the states’ separate medical entrance examination. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a popular entrance examination that would enable students to get admission to MBBS or BDS studies. Now, the apex court has brought the curtains down on an issue that had students and parents bothered and muddled. The NEET 2016 examination was conducted for all the applicants of AIPMT on 01st May 2016 and that exam will be considered to be the Phase I Examination.


Note: For the year 2016, AIPMT will be considered as NEET Phase – I. Aspirants who have not applied for NEET Phase – I (AIPMT) will get a chance to apply again in NEET Phase – II. Candidates who have appeared for NEET Phase – I (AIPMT) are also allowed to appear in NEET Phase – II, But they have to surrender their candidature of NEET 1.



In contrast, the Supreme Court has passed the final orders that the NEET 2016 examination will be a single window entrance exam. Based on that, the candidates can get admission into various MBBS and BDS courses in different Medical Universities and Institutes all over the country. Now, everyone is looking for the official exam dates of NEET 2016 Phase II examination. Finally, the government has announced the dates of NEET 2016 Phase II.examination on July 24th, 2016. 

NEET 2016 Phase II Examination 

The Supreme Court has passed a clear notice that all the candidates who have appeared for the NEET phase I Examination can also apply for the NEET Phase II Examination. But, the condition is that the score of the candidate in the second phase examination will only be taken into consideration. 

The application process for the NEET Phase II Examination will be starting soon. According to the latest news, the NEET 2016 Phase II Examination will be held national wide on 24th July 2016 and the application notification will be released accordingly. The NEET Results 2016 for both the Phase I and Phase II Examinations will be declared officially on 17th August, 2016.

Guidelines to Apply for NEET 2016 Phase-II Examination: 

All the aspiring candidates who are looking for the official declaration dates of NEET Phase II 2016 examination need to follow some guidelines from the official websites such as http://aipmt.nic.in and www.cbseneet.nic.in. You can check out for the NEET 2016 Phase II Notification, the application forms and other details of the examination. 


- The registration process for the NEET Phase II examination 2016 will be carried out online mode only.
- Enter all the essential details in the form appropriately and upload your scanned photograph and signature. 
- At last, make the payment of the examination fee as per the guidelines provided. 
- Once you are done with the payment, just save the registration number and password provided for every candidate as it can be used further at the time of downloading the admit card for NEET Phase II examination.
