Meet CBSE Class 12th Topper Sukriti Gupta from Delhi

CBSE Class 12th Topper 2016 – The result of CBSE Class 12th has been declared today, on 21 May 2016 at 10.45 a.m. The result is available on the Board’s official website and of Montfort School, Delhi, topped the exam by scoring 497 out of 500. In an interview after the CBSE Class 12th Result, she shared her success mantra. “If you worked hard, you will succeed” said she.

She was followed by Palak Goyal of Kurukshetra who secured 496 marks and landed up in the second spot. The third spot was shared by Somy Uppal from St. Theresa’s Convent School, Karnal, and Ajay Sekhar from PSBB Chennai as both managed to score 495 marks each.

The overall pass percentage turned out to be 83% while Thiruvananthapuram region of Kerala is the region with the highest pass percentage of 97.61%. The pass percentage of girls and boys is 88.6% and 78.9 respectively.

The marks scored by CBSE Class 12th topper 2016, Sukriti Gupta, as are below:

• English Core – 99
• Mathematics – 99
• Physics – 100
• Chemistry – 100
• Computer Science – 99
• Work Experience – A1
• Physical & Health Education – B1
• General Studies – A1.

As far as pass percentage in the differently-abled category is concerned, Mudita Jagota from DAV Public School, Faridabad, has got the first position with 485 marks. Siddhartha Biswas from Kendriya Vidyalaya, RK Puram, New Delhi and Raskhit Malik from Amity International School, NOIDA, got the second and third position with 484 and 482 marks respectively.

Thus, Smriti Irani, the Honorable HRD Minister, has fulfilled her promised by declaring the result before 31st May. Now, the successful candidates must be ready to apply for various UG courses in Delhi University and other renowned Universities, the admission processes in which have to start very soon.
